Bernard Hagedorn’s welded stainless steel and bronze sculptures and drawings in this show are all figurative or based on observation of nature. Many are maquettes for larger scale installations.

Both Hagedorn’s 2D and 3D works explore light, reflections and subtle implications of movement and change.  As nothing is static in the natural world, he strives to make his sculpture echo and emphasize the relevance of nature, in a time when current human values seem bent on destruction.
