Fantastic Worlds

Vincennes sculptor Scotty Franklin presented figurative and creature-based artworks constructed entirely from toothpicks and in some cases enhanced by painting. Franklin studied art at Vincennes University, and storytelling at Indiana University Bloomington. His works are lyrical and sometimes humorous, the lightness of the subjects contrasting with the slow and diligent process of construction.
