Christmas Pageant, An Installation

An interpretative installation of the Christmas Story that stretches from one room to another on a constructed landscape. Near the entrance to the first room are toy figures engaged in winter activities, but as one moves through the installation, hundreds of figures gradually appear on a journey to Bethlehem to see the Christ child. There is no distinction between creatures, people, robots–it’s an all-inclusive collection of toy figures, with all the wacky personalities that arrive at the manger under the Christmas star with the newborn Christ Child.
