Sandra Bowden’s “Resurrection Book”

Art Space Vincennes 521 Main will open Word as Image, an exhibition of prints, collages and book-inspired sculpture by Boston area artist Sandra Bowden. Bowden uses elements from Biblical texts, ancient Hebrew, and medieval illuminations to explore the use of written language as a focus of visual art composition. Artfully prepared refreshments by Barbara Edwards will again be served. The exhibition continues through December 12. The prices for the art and for the book by the same name are quite reasonable and would make special Christmas Gifts.
